David Labrava is an American actor, writer, producer, and director, best known for his role as Happy Lowman in the FX series “Sons of Anarchy.” Born in Baltimore, Maryland, in 1964, Labrava began his career in the entertainment industry as a tattoo artist, but eventually transitioned into acting.
He made his acting debut in the early 2000s, with small roles in television shows and films, but it was his role as Happy Lowman in “Sons of Anarchy” that brought him critical acclaim and a dedicated fanbase. The show ran for seven seasons and Labrava also worked as a writer and producer on the show. He also wrote a book “Outlaw: The Remarkable True Story of the Original Tattoo Outlaw” which was published in 2018.
Labrava continues to work in the film and television industry, and has a dedicated fanbase from his role in “Sons of Anarchy.” He is also active in conventions and events, where he interacts with fans and shares behind the scene stories and experiences. He is also a member of the Iron Order Motorcycle Club, and is an advocate for motorcycle rights and awareness. He also continues to work as a tattoo artist, and uses his platform to raise awareness for various charitable causes.
